Government expecting Rs 170b income through tax amnesty scheme: Dr Irshad

LAHORE: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Inland Revenue Operations Member Dr. Muhammad Irshad said Government of Pakistan was expecting Rs 170 billion income through the Voluntary Tax Compliance Scheme.

The member also said that 1.2 million new taxpayers would also be brought into tax net through this scheme. He also urged the whole sellers and retailers to take benefits from the scheme.
