KARACHI: The property tax section of the Sindh Excise and Taxation Department has launched an operation against property tax defaulters.
Sources told Customs Today that the property tax section has recovered Rs 20 million from district Gharbi and central in the first two months of the current year and more than Rs 40 million is expected to be recovered from different areas of district Malir and Liyari in the ongoing month.
It is pertinent to mention here that the Excise Department has issued notices to two private schools in Garden area to clear their outstanding dues until March 25.
