Computerization of land record in district Lahore is almost 80 percent complete. He added that DCOs have been ordered to complete the computerisation of land record within the set time limit.

The revenue is facing a revenue shortfall under the head of agricultural land taxes. He said the shortfall would be overcome within 30 days. He said he had directed the revenue officers to achieve their targets.

Computerization of the land record will possibly increase the revenue of the Punjab government as the tax collection from the landlords will be easy.
