Excise seizes documents of 78 vehicles on token tax default

LAHORE: The motor branch of the Excise and Taxation Department has seized documents of 78 token tax defaulter vehicles in a crackdown on Monday.

With the start of the last quarter for the current fiscal year, Excise Director General Akram Ashraf Gondal has directed all staff officers to take strict action against defaulters, officials said, adding that special crackdown has been started against token tax defaulters from April 1.
