ISLAMABAD: weary of the long protests and sit-ins and subsequent losses, the traders of the federal capital have emphasized on the government settle all political issues through and put a complete ban on political protests in the federal capital to avoid any hindrance to their businesses.
It is to be noted that the local traders and businessmen have been bearing the brunt for political standoff between the government and opposition parties and have borne huge losses due to sit-ins in the federal capital.
The traders representatives and office bearers of its bodies called upon the government to urgently resolve the impasse with PTI Imran Khan through dialogue to save businessmen from further losses.
They claimed that the call for a ‘historic’ rally on November 30 had caused concern among the business community, adding that the local administration had started confiscating containers. They traders warned to avoid using such tactics, otherwise, a meeting of traders would be called to finalise a future strategy to get rid of political sit-ins and protests once and for all.
