Sialkot ASO confiscates 135 crates of smuggled Rani Juice

SIALKOT: The Customs Anti-Smuggling Organisation (ASO) has seized 3,375 cans of foreign origin Rani Juice packed in 135 crates worth Rs 151,023.

ASO incharge Assistant Collector Fahad Bashir Chaudhary following information directed Inspector Sheikh Ikram to foil the smuggling of Rani Juice. The inspector along with his team intercepted a vehicle near Chenab River Toll Plaza Gujrat. During checking, the officials recovered 3,375 cans of Rani Juice.

The ASO team asked the driver named Nadeem Ashraf son of Muhammad Ashraf to provide legal documents regarding possession of juice, but he failed to produce the same. Therefore, the ASO team seized the juice and registered a case against the accused person. The team released driver after proper interrogation and confiscated his CNIC and vehicle registration book.
