Customs Court to remain closed for Eid holidays from July 5 to 8

LAHORE: The Special Federal Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling will be closed for four days from July 5 (Tuesday) to July 8 (Friday) on account of Eidul Fitr holidays.

According to a notification issued by the Lahore High Court (LHC), all courts, including sessions courts, civil courts and other lower courts will remain closed for four days. All courts will resume hearing of the cases on Saturday after Eid.

The Special Federal Customs Court will also remain close in these days and will start hearing of cases from Saturday.

Meanwhile on Thursday customs court heard ten important cases of different kinds and adjourned most the cases until next hearing for further proceedings. Customs court adjourned the pre-arrest bail plea of Fiaz Ahmad for  further hearing and a post arrest bail plea of Muhammad Tariq was also adjourned for next date.
