Haroon Ahmed had filed the cases pertaining to ‘dismissal’ from services. He had filed this case in 2014. He had prayed the tribunal to direct the FBR to restore his services and set aside the dismissal orders.

He had submitted that the action taken against him by the FBR was illegal and in violation of country service rules. He said that administration had also not issued him pre-dismissal notice.

Another bench of tribunal comprising Syed Rafique and Dr Nazir Saeed would hear couple of service matters. Habib Ahmed and Adnan Khurshid Cheema had filed the cases to be heard by bench.

The former had filed cases seeking implementation of FST decision while the later had sought interim relief from the tribunal.
