FIA arrests owner of illegal money changer company

LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested an accused who was running illegal business of money changer and hundi hawala.

According to spokesperson of the FIA, a raid was conducted  under the supervision of Jameel Khan. The raiding team also included Inspector Nasir Awan, Abdul Qayyum,  ASI Badar  ASI, Ashfaq, Maroof and Shafqat on Link Road Model Town Lahore ,  where a person namely Bilal Tariq Butt was found involved in illegal business of hundi/hawala. During the search, the FIA team recovered Pakistani currency amounting to Rs 1,030,000 and registers regarding hawala. Manual receipts regarding hundi hawala, visiting cards, ledgers, mobile phone, photocopies of CNICs etc were also recovered from the spot.
