ISLAMABAD: The Model Customs Collectorate impounded 12 vehicles, including non-duty paid vehicles and others which were being used for smuggling worth Rs 7.665 million during first week of November 2016.

According to details, the customs impounded eight non-duty paid vehicles as three Toyota Vitz cars in dismantle condition and 5 Suzuki pickups. The smugglers tried to show the said vehicles as spare parts, but chassis numbers were not scratched on the parts; therefore the customs confiscated the said cars under customs laws.
