Import of Indian tomatoes has already slowed down since end of July because of good local crop. Import of Indian fruits, especially Indian bananas was a major import but in last two months it is at zero as Pakistani importers have no interest to import bananas from India.

Wagah Land Freight Unit (LFU) officials said that imports by Pakistan have fallen up to 50 percent in November. While on the other hand exports of Pakistani items has increased because of increased demand of Pakistan gypsum, cement and dry dates in Indian market.
