Customs Intelligence to hold auction of non duty paid vehicle, goods today

FAISALABAD: The Customs Intelligence and Investigation will hold auction of non duty paid vehicles and items on 22nd December, Wednesday (today).

Sources told Customs Today that Customs Intelligence will present 13 lots including Toyota Premio car bearing registration number AA-0996 Quetta model 2008, Toyota Vitz car bearing registration number FG- 418 Sindh model 2003, Toyota Corolla X car  AAN-517 Quetta model 2004 for auction. All these vehicles were seized by the Customs Intelligence and Anti-Smuggling Organisation during various anti smuggling activities in the region.

Sources said that auction will be held under the supervision of Deputy Director Muhammad Riaz Hussain. The items which will be offered for auction includes three generators50-KVA, and 1000-KVA, printed plastic paper (5395-kg), cotton clothes for bed sheets and curtain cloth (1525-kgs), dyed brown shade knitted fabrics (479-kg), Micro fine tag pins (217-kg), loop lock (165-kg), zip (1185-kgs), Samsung LED TVs (10), 32″, 40″, 42″ in size.A.S cloth 273- roll (2124-kgs), and Indian origin grey fabrics 7588- kgs will also be presented for auction.

The auction will be held at Customs Intelligence an Investigation office situated in Amin Town Canal Road, Faisalabad. Deputy Director Muhammad Riaz will supervise the auction which will start at 11am. It is hoped that the department will gather million of rupees as revenue by this auction.
