The minister said it while holding a meeting with Indian Trade and Industries Minister Nirmala Sitaraman.

Tofail called on the Indian Minister after attending the inaugural function of a two-day partnership summit organised by Indian Chamber of Commerce and Ministry for Trade and Industries, reports BSS citing an official release.

Referring to imposition of anti-dumping duty by India on jute goods from Bangladesh, the commerce minister said this will adversely affect import-export of jute products. Bangladesh cannot export expected volume of goods to India because of trade barriers, he added.

Andhroprodesh Chief Minister Nara Chandro Babu Naidu presided over the session while Indian Finance Minister Arun Jaitley was present as the chief guest.

Indian Trade and Industries Minister Nirmala Sitaramn, United Arab Emirates Economy Minister Sultan Bin Sayed and Sri Lankan Trade Minister Rishad Nath were present as well.
