ISLAMABAD: The Model Customs Collectorate Peshawar earned Rs791.19million duty taxes during the 1st to 15th of February Financial Year FY2016-17.
According to details told by Additional Deputy Collector (ADC) Fazle Samad that during the initial 15 days of February, all the customs stations of the MCC Peshawar showed satisfactory performance. During above said period, the collectorate generated Rs213million customs duty and did Rs0.14 withholding surcharge.
During same period, the collectorate received Rs15.38million miscellaneous surcharges. It also collected Rs14.5million redemption duty on imports and did Rs0.82million redemption duty on exported items.
During above said period, the collectorate of Peshawar got Rs3.38million export development surcharges (EDS) whereas it collected Rs216.36million sales tax. During initial 15 days of February FY2016-17, the collectorate generated Rs34.94million sales tax on imports.
During said period, the Peshawar collectorate received Rs99.10million sales tax on palm oil while it collected Rs135.14million additional income tax. During same period, Rs51.74million was collected as AIT on exports and Rs5.80million was done as federal excise duty (FED) on imports.
