Faisalabad FIA recovers Rs, 8,00,000 from human trafficker

FAISALABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested a human trafficker Shaukat Hayat from Jhang and recovered Rs8,00,0000 from him.

Sources told to Customs Today, that Deputy Director FIA Syed Imam Zaidi and Sub inspector Taimoor Haider conducted raid on trafficker’s residence and arrested him.

As per details, the accused was running an illegal business of sending innocent people abroad after extorting huge amounts from them. Muhammad Shaukat is involved in several cases of fraud, extortion and sending people abroad illegally.

Accused extorted Rs8,00,000 from complaint Taimoor Safdar for overseas for employment to UK but he remained failed. The FIA team recovered five Pakistani passports, stamps and other fake documents.

The FIA officials, after registering a case No, 40/2017 of human trafficking, sent accused behind the bars under Section (U/S) 17/22 Immigration Ordinance (E.O) 1979.
