The FBR is facing difficulty in meeting up the given target. On the other hand, it is not possible to appoint new FBR chairman as very short period is left for the upcoming financial budget, the source informed.

Preparation of the federal budget and meeting up the given revenue target are the main issues due to which the finance minister has decided to extend the tenure of Dr Muhammad Irshad until June 30, the source reveled.

Due to the Panama Case the official are already busy in conducting the meetings and the time is very limited to pick and choose new Chairman FBR as the financial budget has to be prepared which is main hurdle, said the source.
