IRSA releases 299,700 cusecs water

ISLAMABAD: Indus River System Authority (IRSA) Wednesday released 299,700 cusecs water from various rim stations with inflow of 259,000 cusecs. According to the data released by IRSA Wednesday, water level in the Indus River at Tarbela Dam was 1453.05 feet, which was 73.05 feet higher than its dead level 1380 feet. Water inflow in the dam was recorded as 120,600 cusecs while outflow 179,800 cusecs.

The water level in the Jhelum River at Mangla Dam was 1182.05 feet, which was 142.05 feet higher than its dead level of 1040 feet whereas the inflow and outflow of water was recorded as 48,500 cusecs and 30,000 cusecs respectively.
