325,000 tonnes kinno of $200m to be exported against last year’s 300,000 tonnes of $175m

KARACHI: At least 325,000 tonnes kinno worth $200 million will be exported during the current season as 300,000 tonnes kinno worth $175m were exported during the last season, said Pakistan Fruit and Vegetable Exporters, Importers and Merchant Association (PFVA).

During this season, the production of the fruit is estimated to reach 1.9m tonnes as compared to 1.8m tonnes last season. The PFVA representative said that exporters were eyeing to ship 3,000 containers to Russia this season as compared to 2,600 containers last season.
