PTDC establishes new website for online booking of motels

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) has launched a new website, www.ptdcmotel.com, for online booking of hotels and motels to facilitate tourists from across the world.

An official of PTDC told APP that people had started to contact PTDC motels for advance booking of rooms to entertain state of the art facilities at various beautiful resorts.

He said that PTDC is planning to construct three tourist resorts one in Naltar Valley of Gilgit Baltistan and two in Hazara Division (Mansehra and Haripur/Tarbela lake) aimed at attracting thousands of tourists for these areas annually.

He said that these new places would attract more tourists from across the country and abroad, adding that the new tourist resorts would help in increasing tourism flow in the country. He further said that PTDC’s initiative to introduce ‘Pakistan Tourism Club’ for the promotion of tourism had been received warmly by the people, adding that at present around 30,000 people had got themselves enrolled for enjoying facilities as member of the friends club.

He said that objective of introducing new facilities was to promote tourism activities and provide better facilities at affordable rates to members and tourists.

He said that people response was encouraging and they approaching Motels for booking of rooms especially in Naran, Saidu Sharif, Kalam and Miandan.
