MULTAN: The Customs Collectorate has directed staff that they should not leave their duty station without approval of collector during holidays and weekends in order to perform compulsory tasks of the Collectorate.
The Model of Customs Collectorate Multan officers was gone to their native cities after announcement of public holiday on the Occasion of Eid-Milad-un –Nabi on Friday. Three officers of the Collectorate of Multan Customs including Additional Collector Asdaq Afzal Sensera, Assistant Collector Muhammad Ikram and Assistant Collector Zohaib Sandhila were on the leave on Saturday after announcement Holiday. The Collectorate of Multan Customs faces difficulties in managing their routine tasks due to sudden absence of three officers.
Collector Saud Imran Ahmad directed all officers BS-17 and above that they will inform collector before leaving Multan Customs Collectorate Station during weekly or declared holidays in any case without prior approval of the collector in order to run the administrative matters of the Collectorate.
Collector Saud Imran Ahmad has also directed that other staff of the Collectorate will also obtain prior approval of the concerned assistant collector during weekend holidays and declared holidays. Multan Customs operations are disturbed very badly due to non-availability of substitute for the accomplishment of their routine tasks in the Collectorate.
The new circular from collector Multan customs has been circulated to all officers and employees to follow said directions of Collector Saud Imran Ahmad. The Model Customs Collectorate Multan will take stern action against those employees who ignored the directions of the Collectorate in future in order to avoid any inconvenience.
