Sources told Customs Today that accused Shahid Iqbal was apprehended while making an attempt to smuggle cigarettes to USA by declaring them as clothes. The worth of the goods is more than Rs1.3million.

Customs court heard the case again and cancelled the bail of the accused. The court has also asked the customs authorities to arrest the accused as soon as possible and present him before the court for further proceeding.

Earlier, customs investigation team presented him before the court of customs taxation and anti-smuggling judge.
