In his remarks, the CJP said that non-disclosure of assets by any military personnel does not lead to a court-martial.

In 1999, Munir was suspended from duty via a court-martial after he did not disclose his entire assets and property before the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), while the high court later suspended the verdict.

The defence ministry then filed a petition against the high court’s verdict in the SC, which was heard earlier today and the apex court dismissed the petition.
