FBR assigns Rs.3680.21m revenue collection target for April

MULTAN: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) earmarked an amount of Rs3680.21 million revenue collection target to Multan Customs Collectorate for the month of April FY-2017-18

Sources told Customs Today that Customs Collectorate Multan has been allocated different revenue collection tasks under the heads of customs duty, sales taxes, federal excise duty (FED) and withholding taxes (WHT) for the on-going month of April 2017-18.

The Multan Customs Collectorate has been given a customs duty revenue collection target of Rs874.02 million for the first month of fourth quarter of fiscal year 2017-18. The Customs Collectorate was given Rs.2786.32 million revenue target for the collection of sales tax in April 2017-18.

The Federal Board of Revenue has assigned the Collectorate a revenue collection target of Rs.8.57 million in terms of federal excise duty (FED) for the on-going month of April 2017-18. The Customs Collectorate set the income tax target of Rs12.61 million for the period of April 2017-18. The net collection target assigned to the Multan Customs has been Rs3680.21million for the month of April 2018.
