Collector Adjudication Seema Bokhari hears cases worth Rs329m during June

ISLAMABAD: Collector Adjudication Seema Raza Bokhari decided 18 cases worth of Rs329 million during the month of June.

Sources told Customs Today o that collector Adjudication received total 18 cases and all were decided in one month, which fetched handsome revenue after conclusion that provided positive support to MCC Islamabad, MCC Peshawar and Customs I&I.

Sources said that 61 cases have been pending for the last three months, while 18 cases have been pending for the last 6 months. All the pending cases will be decided within next few days, sources added.

Sources said that Collector Seema Raza Bukhari recently wrote a letter to the additional collector and deputy collectors within her jurisdiction asking them for details of pending cases especially that of June FY2017-18, so the revenue could be added into national exchequers.

The sources further said that the purpose behind getting detail of cases was to adopt a comprehensive strategy for the speedy solution of cases. It was told that all those cases involving high amounts were solved on priority basis.
