Multan Adjudication concludes hearing of 23 seizure cases worth Rs40.218m during June

MULTAN: Customs Adjudication Multan Camp Office concluded the hearing of 23 seizure cases of worth Rs40.218 million for the duration of June in the Fiscal Year 2017-18.

Deputy Collector Adjudication concluded 17 various seizure cases of worth Rs4.603 million after their trial during the month of June. These decided seizure cases involved cloth, auto parts, liquor, vehicle and other goods .Customs Intelligence and Anti-Smuggling Organization formed these seizure cases in their various actions in the jurisdiction. Deputy Collector has decided all 17 seizure cases in the favor of customs department after completion of their hearing. There were 26 new seizure cases of worth Rs13.683 million added for trial in the month of June.

Additional Collector Customs Adjudication Talib Hussain decided only two seizure cases of worth Rs2.316 million during the month of June. Additional Collector has settled both seizure cases of smuggled vehicles formed by Customs Anti-Smuggling Organization in their actions. As many as 19 new seizure cases of worth Rs35.321 million added for trial in the Court of Additional Collector during the month of June.

Collector Adjudication Asif Khan Buzdar decided only four seizure cases of worth Rs33.299 million in June after completion of proceedings. Collector has almost 22 various seizure cases available in the Customs Adjudication of Rs327.578 million after end of fiscal year for hearing.

There were eight new fresh seizure cases of worth Rs32.337 million added in the Customs Adjudication Multan Camp throughout the month of June in the Fiscal Year 2017-18.
