Additional Collector Adjudication Asma hears 44 cases

FAISALABAD: The Customs Adjudication Additional Collector Asma Hameed heard 44 of smuggling and tax evasion cases on Monday.

Deputy Collector Asma Hameed heard cases of smuggled foreign origin cloth, pineapple, Toyota Passo car and other vehicles, tyres and tubes, cigarettes, audit recovery cases and generator 80-KVA also other miscellaneous items during the hearing.

She heard 15 cases of Bond recovery of Customs and 4 cases of ASO involving duty and taxes. Adjudication additional collector also heard 5 case forwarded by ASO Sargodha.

Asma Hameed heard eight cases of tax evasion filed by Customs Intelligence and Investigation Faisalabad and two cases of Field Intelligence Unit (FIU) Khushab. Two cases of Air Freight Unit while she heard two cases against M/s Dilpasand Hosiery and M/s Rana Textile Faisalabad submitted by import branch. She heard 8 smuggling cases referred by the Anti Smuggling Organization Mainwali.
