Faisalabad Adjudication retrieves Rs111.613m by settling various cases in September

FAISALABAD: The Customs Adjudication recovered Rs 111.613 million after deciding different seizure cases during the month of September of Fiscal Year 2018.

Sources told Customs Today that the adjudication department settled 54 smuggling cases during the month of September. The Customs Adjudication issued order in favor of the Anti-Smuggling Organizations Sargodha, Mianwali, Jhang, Sar-e-Muhajir and Customs Intelligence and Investigation Regional Office Faisalabad.

The cases included smuggling of clothes, tea, auto parts, Iranian diesel, Rani juice, LCD, LEDs mobile phones, old and used machinery, children shoes, grey fabrics and used laptops, Toyota Corolla vehicles Land Cruiser, almonds and other items.

Collector Adjudication Asif Abbas decided 4 cases of Rs42.233 million while Additional Collector Asma Hameed settled 27 cases involving Rs57.626 million.

Similarly, Deputy Collector decided 53 cases involving Rs10.754 million and announced decisions in favor of the Customs Intelligence and Investigation during above said period.
