Faisalabad AFU seizes alcohol from passenger arrived from Qatar

FAISALABAD: The Customs Air Freight Unit (AFU) team recovered three bottles of foreign origin liquor from a passenger during action.

Sources told Customs Today that the team comprising Inspectors Muhammad Ramzan, Shahid Saeed Chohan and Qadeer Masih intercepted a passenger namely Roshin Naseeb who was arrived at Faisalabad International Airport from flight no:QTR 624 from Qatar.

The customs team seized the liquor bottles under the contravention Section 2(S) read with SRO 566(1)/2005 Section 15 and 16 of the Customs Act 1969.
