FAISALABAD: The Customs Air Freight Unit (AFU) team recovered three bottles of foreign origin liquor from a passenger during action.
Sources told Customs Today that the team comprising Inspectors Muhammad Ramzan, Shahid Saeed Chohan and Qadeer Masih intercepted a passenger namely Roshin Naseeb who was arrived at Faisalabad International Airport from flight no:QTR 624 from Qatar.
The customs team asked the passenger to open the bag in the presence of two witnesses which led to the recovery of three bottles of foreign origin liquor of Chivas Regal brand which were hidden in his bag.
The customs team seized the liquor bottles under the contravention Section 2(S) read with SRO 566(1)/2005 Section 15 and 16 of the Customs Act 1969.
