Multan Customs Preventive generates Rs 16.351 million from auction

MULTAN: Multan Customs Collectorate (Preventive) generated Rs 16.351 million from the auction of the confiscated goods and vehicles lying at the State Warehouse.

According to details, Multan Customs Collectorate held monthly auction for the month of October for confiscated vehicles and miscellaneous goods. Multan Customs displayed auction banners outside Multan Customs House and Dry Port to attract buyers. Customs Collectorate Multan conducted auction at Multan Dry Port near Sher Shah Bypass.

Multan Customs Preventive has presented 18 various foreign origin confiscated vehicles including Suzuki Swift, Mercedes Benz, Suzuki Alto, Toyota Land Cruiser, Honda Civic, Toyota Vitz, Toyota Fielder, Toyota Passo, Toyota Accord, BMW, Toyota Rush Jeep and others in auction and four confiscated vehicles were successfully sold out in Rs 5.21 million during auction. Remaining vehicles were remain unsold due to fewer price offered in auction.

Multan Customs Preventive sold out eight different lots of used tyres of foreign origin, cloths, Petroleum products and miscellaneous lots. While remaining 21 lots of BOPP film rolls, cigarettes, electronic goods, auto parts, High Speed Diesel, different engines, spare parts, LED lamps, computer parts, mobile accessories, wrist watch, chocolates. Diesel engine cylinder, white gel, petrol tank covers of motorcycles, LCDs, almond shelled, kitchen cleaner pad, detergent powder, raisin and others were unsold due to fewer bids offered from public from their reserved price. All confiscated vehicles and miscellaneous goods were seized by Anti-Smuggling Organization in their different actions from jurisdictions.

Assistant Collector Multan Customs Preventive Muhammad Fahad Jamil supervised the whole auction process of confiscated goods and vehicles along with their staff.
