KARACHI: Absence of data base and evidence is slowing down the audit verification process at the Directorate General of Post Clearance Audit.

The absence of data base makes it extremely hard for the relevant staff to verify the audit observations picked by the Risk Management module.

Though an audit observation, selected by the PCA Headquarters Islamabad, including the import consignments already released along with the HS Code and the quantity of already cleared import consignments the absence of data base and evidences in a number of cases keep on posing challenges to the PCA staff tasked to verify the observations.
