MULTAN: Collectorate of Customs Enforcement has generated Rs13.47 million through the auction of confiscated vehicles and miscellaneous goods. The auction took place at the Multan Customs House and included a variety of items seized by the Collectorate.
A total of 29 non-customs paid vehicles were offered in the auction, including popular models like the Daihatsu Mira, Honda Civic Reborn, Toyota Aqua, Toyota Prius, Toyota Vitz, BMW, Suzuki Alto, Suzuki Swift, and Toyota Passo. However, only seven vehicles were sold, raising Rs11.54 million, as the remaining vehicles were not sold due to low bids from participants.
In addition to vehicles, 32 lots of miscellaneous goods were also put up for auction, comprising items such as High-Speed Diesel oil, solar pumps, PVC plastic sheets, tyres, ball bearings, curtain cloth, almonds, electronic goods, welding electrodes, and chocolate brands. Of these, five lots were successfully sold for Rs1.93 million, while the remaining lots were not sold due to lower-than-expected offers.
The auction was supervised by Deputy Collector Fareed ud Din Masood, who ensured that the process was conducted transparently and in accordance with legal requirements.
