QUETTA: Some unidentified miscreants have blown up an 18-inch gas pipeline in the Dera Murad Jamali area of Balochistan’s Nasirabad district.
According to Radio Pakistan, explosive material was planted near the gas pipeline which detonated with a loud bang. Police sources said that the explosion caused a foot long segment of the pipeline to be destroyed. After explosion, gas supply suspended from Sui to the Uch power plant.
Frontier Corps and local police personnel arrived at the site of explosion immediately and the area was cordoned off to carry out investigation.
