About 20 impounded vehicles & 14 lots of items to be offered for auction on 28th

MULTAN: The Customs Intelligence and Investigation Multan will auction off 20 impounded vehicles and goods worth millions of rupees on 28th of December.

The Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigation Multan Office announced the auction schedule.

The directorate will offer almost 20 various vehicles including Non-Duty-Paid old and fresh ones for auction lying in the State Ware House of the Customs Intelligence and Investigation Multan. The impounded vehicles were taken into possession by the Field Intelligence Units of Sadiqabad, Multan and Dera Ghazi Khan during their anti-smuggling campaign in the Jurisdiction.

The Customs Intelligence and Investigation Multan Office impounded the vehicles brought into the country through clandestine routes. The impounded vehicles were forwarded to the Customs Adjudication after the completion of investigation for trial, and the Customs Adjudication issued Order –In-Original for the outright impounding of these vehicles and goods.

The impounded vehicles to be presented for auction include Toyota Vitz, Mercedez Benz, Toyota Hiace Wagon, Toyota Land Cruiser V8, Toyota Raum, Toyota Altas, Suzuki Swift, Toyota Fielder, Toyota Premio ,Toyota Corolla G and others.

The Customs Intelligence and Investigation will offer 14 various lots of items including 14,000 liters of furnace oil, welding rods, heavy duty generators, iron scrap, different brands of tyres, foreign origin cigarettes and various auto parts.

The auction was cancelled due to sit-in and protest in the month of November. The Customs Intelligence and Investigation Multan is expecting a handsome revenue from the auction. The auction will be held at the Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigation Multan Office, Rajapur near Edhi Village. Deputy Director Khial Muhammad Khan will supervise the whole auction process along with his staff.
