ADC Beelam adjourns two smuggling cases involving Rs 2.59m

FAISALABAD: Customs Adjudication Additional Collector Beelam-ur-Ramzan on Wednesday adjourned two cases of smuggling until October 6, 2016.

Beelam heard cases filed by Anti-Smuggling Organisation (ASO), Faisalabad, Mainwali, Sargodha, Sara-e-muhajir and Jhang, and Customs Intelligence and Investigation Khushab against accused persons involved in evasion of millions of rupees customs duty and taxes.

The adjudication authority also adjourned two cases filed by Faisalabad ASO. A case against unknown person involved in using of foreign origin non-duty paid Toyota Hilux Surf bearing Registration No KV-017-ICT worth Rs 1.455 million.

Furthermore, Additional Collector Beelam adjourned a case against Muhammad Younas involved in smuggling of Toyota vehicle bearing Registration No AJKF-8137 worth Rs 1.139 million.
