Additional Collector Fazal Samad inaugurates WeBOC system at Peshawar Dry Port

PESHAWAR: Additional Collector Custom Syed Fazal Samad inaugurated Web Based One Custom (WebOC) system at Peshawar Cantonment Dry Port.

The system has started functioning and the Peshawar Dry Port will be linked with other units of the country. The system will facilitate the business community to clear their goods and save their valuable time.

Meanwhile, Peshawar customs has burnt explosives crackers recovered from a container in the shape of waste papers. The explosives were brought from China and were being shifted to other parts of the country.

There was no legal documents filed for the smuggled container and after opening and checking it was proved that the containers containing explosive cracker being used in marriage ceremonies. The explosive crackers were recovered in 2015 and it was burnt in Jamrud Shakus area under the supervision of customs officials.
