Additional Collector Saima Aftab issues two OnOs in favour of Customs

FAISALABAD: Additional Collector Adjudication Saima Aftab has issued two Orders-in-Origin (OnOs) in favour of the Customs Intelligence.

Sources informed Customs Today that one OnO was issued in favour of the Customs Intelligence and Investigations while the other was issued in favour of the Field Intelligence Unit (FIU) Khushab. A Customs team intercepted a non-duty paid truck bearing registration No. TKB-225 (Sibi) and recovered a foreign origin generator worth Rs 3 million.

During the case proceedings, it was proved that Hino truck and 150-KVA generator were brought into the country without payment of customs duty and taxes and owners had failed to produce any legal documents regarding possession of these items. Customs Adjudication Collector Saima Aftab, after listening the arguments, issued OnO in favour of the Customs Intelligence authorities.
