Adjudication DC Asma Hameed hears 26 cases on Monday

FAISALABAD: Customs Adjudication Deputy Collector Asma Hameed heard 26 of smuggling and tax evasion cases on Monday.

Deputy Collector Asma Hameed heard cases of smuggled foreign origin cloth, pineapple, Toyota Passo car and other vehicles, tyres and tubes, cigarettes, generator 80-KVA and others miscellaneous items during the hearing.

According to details, she heard seven cases of Anti-Smuggling Organizations (ASO) Faisalabad and five cases of Mianwali ASO involving duty and taxes. The adjudication deputy collector also heard four cases of Sargodha ASO.

Asma Hameed heard four cases of tax evasion filed by Jhang ASO and four cases of Customs Intelligence and Investigation. She also heard one case against M/s Cres-Style Company submitted by Bond Section and another case filed by Air Freight Unit (AFU).
