LAHORE: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has recovered drugs worth Rs 95 million during different raids across the country.
According to ANF spokesperson, an anti-drug squad conducted raids across the country with aim to free the country of drugs. Sources told Customs Today 25 smugglers, including six women were arrested during these raids by the ANF.
The Anti Narcotics Force has also confiscated almost 23 kilograms heroin, 111 kilograms of marijuana and 450 kilograms of other narcotic drugs. Narcotics have been recovered from the possession of the arrested persons.
Sources told that ANF authorities also impounded four vehicles which were being used to transport these vehicles. It is necessary to mention here that all these vehicles were found tempered and non-duty paid. ANF authorities after registering a case of smuggling against arrested accused persons started further investigations.
