Advisor to PM Haroon Akhter, Member FBR Dr Irshad visit RTOs to review tax collection status

LAHORE: Special Advisor to Prime Minister on Revenue Haroon Akhter Khan and Member Operation Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Dr Irshad visited Regional Tax Offices to review tax collection measures.

A meeting was held at RTO-I in which Chief Commissioner Regional Tax Office-I (RTO-I) Tasneem Rehman, Chief Commissioner Regional Tax Office-II (RTO-II) Khawaja Adnan Zaheer, Chief Commissioner Large Taxpayer Unit (LTU) Chudhary Safder Hussain, all commissioners of Inland Revenue (CIR), additional commissioners, deputy Commissioner and assistant commissioner particapated.

During the meeting, Special Advisor to Prime Minster Haroon Akhter expressed his satisfaction on revenue collections status and said that due to tireless efforts of his team he is optimistic to achieve revenue collection target.

Addressing the members FBR Member Operation Dr Irshad Ahmed said that he is satisfied about the measures adopted by RTOs in collection of revenue.

Dr Irshad also lauded his team Regional Tax Office-I and RTO-II and urged them continue their efforts for recovery of arrears.

Chaudhary Safder Chief Commissioner Large Taxpayers Unit (LTU) said in the meeting that he has impressed by the tax collection and motivational skills of the government high officials.
