Multan Customs to dismantle 15 tampered vehicles

MULTAN: The Model Customs Collectorate of Multan has decided to dismantle 15 various tampered and un-serviceable vehicles.

Multan Customs impounded 15 vehicles lying in warehouse of Multan Customs which were declared tampered after the forensic laboratory examination. The Customs Collectorate has decided to dismantle vehicles of various models.

The non-duty paid tampered vehicles seized and could not be auctioned in normal manner. Therefore, the department will sell out various auto parts of the dismantle vehicles in the auction.

The Customs staff and the government department officials, who were allotted tampered vehicles, are also eligible to purchase these vehicles.

The Customs has sold out few tampered vehicles to Pakistan army after the approval of the chief collector. Customs will present parts of these 15 seized vehicles in the auction after their dismantling.
