MULTAN: The Federal Board of Revenue has appointed Inland Revenue Appeals (IR-Appeals) commissioner for Regional Tax Office (RTO) Multan.
Directorate of Internal Audit Additional Director Afaque Ahmad Qureshi has been transferred at Multan by promoting him. It may mention here that commissioner Appeal’s post was vacant for several months due to the transfer of Commissioner Amin Akhtar Shaheedi to Lahore
A large number of taxpayers who were waiting for settlement of their appeals showed satisfaction after the appointment of Commissioner Afaque Ahmad Qureshi. Newly appointed commissioner would take charge in a next few days for this post.
