Karachi: AFU collects Rs 2747m in December 2014

KARACHI: The Air Freight Unit (AFU) of Model Customs Collectorate (MCC) of Preventive collected Rs 2747.90 million customs duty, sales tax (ST), additional sales tax and income tax in December 2014.

According to statistics, the Air Fright Unit of MCC-Preventive has collected an amount of Rs 777.98 million in terms of customs duty, Rs 1118.22 million in terms of sales tax and Rs 77.31million additional sales tax.

The AFU has collected Rs 774.39 million income tax (IT) in December 2014.

Enforcement-South Chief Collector Nazim Saleem and MCC Preventive Collector Syed Muhammad Tariq Huda have expressed their satisfaction over the revenue collection of the unit.
