AFU Islamabad generates Rs235.53m as all duties & taxes from 1st to 15th of September

ISLAMABAD: The Customs Air Freight Unit (AFU) Islamabad collected Rs235.53million of all duties and taxes from 1st to 15th of September Financial Year (FY) 2017-18.

According to details explained by sources of AFU Islamabad that, during above said period, the AFU received Rs59.43million as Customs Duty (CD). During 1st to 15th of September FY17-18, the AFU earned Rs119.72million as Sales Tax (ST) whereas it did Rs56.38million of Income Tax (IT).

Regarding the last month’s performance, the sources told CT that the AFU Islamabad received Rs434.11million of all duties and taxes during the first 18 days of August FY17-18 while it did Rs108.50million as CD. The AFU earned Rs218.31million of ST whereas it did Rs107.30million as Income Tax from 1st to 18th of August FY 2017-18.
