LAHORE: Customs Central Region Chief Collector Samaira Nazir has announced that all collectorates in the jurisdiction will remain open on Saturday (today).
According to Lahore Customs spokesman, all the collectorates, falling in the jurisdiction of chief collector, Customs (Central), will also observe normal working hours and no weekly holiday will be observed today.
Moreover all Customs clearance work will commence in full swing with effect from Thursday (September 15).
The decision was taken to facilitate the import and export operations across the country and to eliminate the chances of hardship as a result of increased volume of work causing choking at the ports.
