More than 5,000 oil mills are working in the country so the government should not slap surplus taxes on the oil mills and 6 percent tax on seedcake should be taken back, he added.

He said the government should facilitate oil mill owners to deposit taxes with a 2 percent fine on their previous income tax.

He said that oil mills industry would contribute more in the national economy if the government imports solvent plants from China and provide them to the oils on a 10-year installment which will also be helpful for the oil industry.
