LAHORE: The Anti-Narcotics Force staff deputed at Allama Iqbal International Airport has foiled an attempt to smuggle heroin and arrested a suspect, Muhammad Asghar son of Rasheed Ahmed. The suspect is a resident of Faisalabad.
Sources informed Customs Today that the accused, who was travelling from Lahore to Kuwait by flight no PK 205, had concealed heroin in his trolley bag.
The ANF team seized the heroin and arrested the accused. The ANF authorities shifted the accused to undisclosed location for further interrogations.
