ISLAMABAD: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has foiled a bid to smuggle heroin to Saudi Arabia and arrested an accused at Benazir Internation Airport Islamabad.
According to the ANF sources, the ANF team has recovered 1 kg of heroin from a assenger who was identified as Fazal Ahmed and is a resident of Kashmir.
Sources said that the accused put the heroin in his baggage and was ready to fly to Saudi Arabia. Sources said that the ANF team arrested the accused Fazal Ahmed on the spot and registered a case of smuggling against him while further investigations are underway.
