ANF nabs five drug traffickers in different operations

LAHORE: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) arrested five drug pushers in different operations and recovered 8.3 kilogram drugs from their possession.

According to details, the ANF team intercepted a car near Faizpur Motorway Toll Plaza Lahore and recovered 6 kilogram fine quality hashish. The ANF team also arrested three drug dealers named Ubaid-Ullah and Abu Bakar Sidique, residents of Nowshehra and Muhammad Safdar, a resident of Lahore.

The ANF team arrested a local drug pusher who was identified as Ansar Ali for possessing 600 grams of opium. He was arrested from Daska Chowk, Sambrial Sialkot.

In another operation, the ANF airport team deputed at Allama Iqbal International Airport arrested a passenger who was later identified as Muhammad Ansar resident of Mandi Bahaudin. The accused was boarding on a flight for Madina and recovered 1.7 kilogram amphetamine concealed in his luggage.

The ANF teams registered separate cases of narcotics against arrested accused persons and started investigation.
