Sources expected that number of applications would certainly touch the figure of 30, 000 till last date as ANF has received 20,000 application five days ahead of last day.

These posts included sweeper, cook, naib qasid, steno typist, assistant and sub inspector from grade 1 to 14.

“The ANF has been receiving applications in sacks daily and staff members were deputed to sort out the acceptable applications,” they added.

“It tells us about unemployment condition in Pakistan,” the source said adding that that if the number of applications would touch the figure of 30, 000 then it means that over 118 candidates would be contesting for one post.
